Hello fellow Smugglers!
First off, we’d like to thank all of you from the bottom of hearts. Your love and support means so much to us, and it’s very encouraging to know that the art we've created at Happy Badger Studio is being seen, heard, and supported. Whether or not we reach the gold at the finish line, your support and kind words makes it all worth the world. We seriously cannot thank you all enough.
We have less than 30% to go! In these final hours of the Kickstarter, we will be going at full blast! If you have any friends, family, or colleagues that would like some epic couch multiplayer hovercrafting flair on their PS4 or Steam, let them know about SmuggleCraft! 1 WEEK LEFT!
We are in the final laps and the engine fuel is running hot! We’ve got 8 days left until the finish line and we need $9,000 left to reach our goal. We can do this, smugglers! The team is currently at PAX East showcasing SmuggleCraft. If you’re around or know anyone who’s going, come hang out with Happy Badger Studio at Booth #10024 and say Hi (we realize the booth number typo in our last update. So sorry about that)!

Races were epic
We had a great time at PAX East! So many awesome gamers played SmuggleCraft and gave us great feedback and praise. After experimenting with a new build, we decided to up the speed to all hovercrafts by a significant amount. We can’t wait to have you all try it out!
SmuggleCraft Update #3 - Two weeks left!!!

2 weeks left! We have just half of our campaign left - only 13 days! We’re over 35% funded, but still have a loooong way to go and will need all the help we can get if we’re to make our goal. We’re hoping to gain some traction at PAX next week, but there’re still ways you can help!
Tell racing fans - Let them know know about the campaign and get them hype for the closed beta! Find people you want to race with!
Talk to PAX goers - Know a streamer or friend who’s going to PAX? Tell them to stop by booth #10022 and play SmuggleCraft!

Closed Beta
Joey’s been working hard on getting the lobbies working for Online Multiplayer. We’re just about there, and have been having some great online races. We should have this ready to go so that everyone who has backed at $25 and up will get immediate Beta access as soon as the campaign has ended - BUT we have to have a successful campaign in order for that to happen, so we’ll be going strong this next two weeks to keep getting pledges.

The team is finishing up our stay at the Game Developers Conference, where we’ve been learning cool stuff to make SmuggleCraft more awesome. We’ve also met with our Sony rep to talk about the details of the launch, which is getting us pretty excited!

We’re 7 days in and just shy of $4,000! Things have slowed down a bit, but we’ve got a lot of cool things lined up, as well as some yet-to-be-revealed announcements…

BIG IMPORTANT REWARD UPDATE:
We’ve made an executive decision - ALL reward tiers $25 and ABOVE will be getting a BETA KEY!!! At first we didn’t want to overload the closed beta, but the more we thought about it, we felt like it wasn’t fair to those individuals that, for example, wanted the Soundtrack AND the Beta access. We hope this makes some of those mid-range tiers a bit more enticing.
In the studio:
Bravendary is in the studio today, working on some new synthy tracks for SmuggleCraft, mixed with brief jazz interludes to keep us feeling groovy.
Don’t forget, we’re streaming LIVE tonight with @wgrates on Twitch. If you’ve never seen a corgi stream, you’re in for a good time. And maybe...just maybe...we’ll pull out some ONLINE MULTIPLAYER action. We’re working on some updates for it now, hoping to have something playable tonight as a first-look.
